Meet Debbie

Hello Friend and welcome to Ugh. My Husband...

Let me start by saying I love my husband. Very much actually (So much that Nanc and I created this site so he can continue living, I jest of course?)  Anyway.... Ugh. My Husband is not a place for husband bashing out of hate- it isn't a place for husband bashing at all. Our complaints come from a place of love and humor and with the ultimate purpose of giving other wives out there a community where they can realize they are not alone in this strange and often times confusing universe (i want to have his babies, but first let me kick him in the balls.) So read, share, but most importantly laugh! And remember that often times the things we are complaining about are some of the very things we love (sssh don't tell) about our husbands, because they are what make them who they are!

I am a first time momma to a beautiful nugget girl - Gigi, also a momma to a skinny pup and a fat, fat cat.  My husband Hans and I are homebodies for certain and love to kiss our fat baby's cheeks.  Aside from that I love making homemade waffles, soups, and experimenting with new types of food, i love to read and write, do laundry (this is a new one....) go to zumba (seriously, it is like a dance recital for grown ups!) and Hans likes to sit on his computer and do something- i am not sure what (if you read some of my posts, I am certain you will hear more about this!) Nancy and I get to spend our days together, feverishly working for the betterment of man and womankind. When we come up for air, it is to share stories of our lives, our gripes, our exercise routines, and or lunches!

Shortly after I got married and was blissful and clear-headed, one of my single friends asked me "but how do you know you can spend the rest of your life with someone?"

I had thought about this- because even before we were married, Hans drove me nuts, but I eagerly accepted his marriage proposal. Why was that?

"Well," I said, "the way I see it, whoever you spend the rest of your life with is going to drive you crazy, you just need to decide what kind of crazy you are willing to take..."

Today I am taking all of this crazy in stride...big....long.........strides - perhaps off a short pier.

Much Love and email me!

Debbie
